The Customer is a multi-industry company running chains of clothing ware brands and different types of accessories with different ranges like luxury items, normal clothing ware, etc.
Challenge
The customer wants their API to integrate with third-party vendors for a better order management process and also provide a portal if the third-party vendors are directly on board the portal. Customer require two channels for their business B2C & B2B. From the portal, users can download different types of reports & Invoices like Customer invoices, Sales invoices, Credit notes, Debit notes, Order reports, cancel order reports and Return order reports.
Customers need to integrate an order process for their users to place orders easily and order sellers to fulfil orders step by step.
Solution
The testing team studied the Customer’s e-store requirements and created test cases. Test collection was constantly updated with test cases covering all the new features before their implementation. The testing team ran regression testing of all related areas when a new feature was implemented. Critical path testing was performed after regression testing. The testing team helps their vendors with testing orders to fulfil orders via the Customer’s API. The seller can manage forward and return order flow from the portal as well as from APIS. The team performs regression testing after each release so that real users are not affected by new features.
Results
Customer gets fully and smoothly operated B2C & B2B portals along with their third-party API-integrated vendors. Also, they get various reports to find their finance and order management reports to find business analytics and business performance.
